Catalina Gallery is situated on the Northern Beaches of Sydney at Avalon Beach.

The gallery has been converted from the residence and studio of Liz Muir. Initially it was thought to provide only a limited amount of gallery space; but with the closing of the only full time gallery in Avalon Beach, it was enlarged to include the whole of this converted beach cottage including the spacious and tranquil grounds in which it lays.

Whilst it is somewhat difficult to find, in that it is not located in the central business district; but in North Avalon, it is these same qualities that adds to its appeal.
